Another scary thing is that "some" control systems can be easily hacked, or can get viruses now.
About a year ago, maybe longer, a guy hacked into a water treatment facility and destroyed all the pumps and motors by jacking the VFD's. He knew what he was doing because he was familiar with the operation. He was caught pretty quick tho.
I got into a control system that I needed to, but should not have been able to do it. Everyone associated with this had passed away and no info available. I yelled Bingo inside of 5 minutes.
