Check it out... in the 14 years I've lived here I've never seen so much rain. 6.6" is a little more than what NOAA has for a 50 yr, 24 hr event here. Water level got within 6" of the emergency spillway, but my 12" siphon worked as designed. It was in "siphon mode" for about 4 hours and then successfully shut itself down when the water finally dropped to the full pool level!

I want to thank everyone bigtime for all the information on this forum. I relied on it heavily when I was designing the dam and the siphon.
