An old tool box might be just the thing to use to store all the components!! Great Idea!! Of course the solar panels will need to be on the outside for better performance.....
I am going to place the whole thing on a concrete pad next to the panels for simplicity sake.
Are you interested in the solar tracking version or just the fixed panels version?
