300 lbs is not that much if you do the whole thing properly

I don't know if it's possible to purchase such things without any fishing licences in USA but if it's then choose the most suitable one and start fishing.
Simply set it in the evenig and take the fish in the next morning. Easy
put it in the paper? or the town community center/poster board etc.
I would avoid that way. At first you won't know when your 300 lbs goal is achieved. And after that it might be hard to get rid of these guest fishermen.
