Texas Hunter fish feeders are top of the line. If you want to fish big fish in your pond think about a feeder. Also, you might want to think about aeration. The Indiana clan here should be able to advise. Do you need to fertilize up there? If so get started when they (the locals) tell you to.

Where does the water come from, a spring or runoff?

A one acre pond can have a few LMB, most of the guys who want a few big bass only stock females.

And like I always say, KNOW YOU FISH SUPPLIER. Know his reputation in the area. It does make a difference.
