JD, not sure you've given enough information to know if there's a problem or not.

How old are your bass?

What do you want from the pond? ie/ Huge bass; diversity, etc.

There are charts to determine if your bass are thin, normal, or overly fat. That's a start to see if the bass are doing well.

I'm no pro, but I think these are some of the questions that the pros would ask.
