They say GC are most effective the first 7 years after that they start to become less and less effective. So just write down somewhere when you put them in and about that time 7 years later you need to start to replace them. I did as Todd said I put my original stock in around this time of year. That way they still had some weeds to chew on and had them ready for the spring already in place.
The only difference between a rut and a Grave is the depth. So get up get out of that rut and get moving!! Time to work!!
