The 62 degree water is a little cold on the feet, but the Barge is only about 20 feet from dry land. The water remains about 40 inches above "normal". These conditions are infinitesimally better than doing D.O. observations when it is 20 below zero, the wind is blowing 20 miles per hour and a 20" hole needs to bored to get the probe to wet water.
