Each June we have a Krehbiel family get together here at our farm/lake/cabin - this year was the fourth one. There were thirty some of us this year including four generations. We start on a Friday evening and continue into Sunday. We make homemade ice cream with a six quart hand crank freezer and BBQ plenty of ribs, chicken, and pork shoulder. It's the only time each year that the extended family is able to get together and is something we had not previously been doing on any regular basis. Having the event here is ideal since there are so many different things to do - and the kids can pretty much just run and do there own thing.
