I am new enough to not know the source of pirate appreciation here, but have been around long enough to see grown men find their most basic level of manliness when the issue of pirates arises.
Ha -- my menfolk are right there in the mix -- pirates, pirate movies, etc. Me, I just like Johnny Depp -- or Errol Flynn -- or . . . don't get me started on some of those rakish actors who portrayed swashbucklin' pirates!
