So thoughtful of you to think of this at this busy tax time. The ducks are not afraid of the goosecracker shells. I was told once that if we knew where the nests were we could shake the eggs. We had about 21 ducks on this lake last year. We have Swans for a short time in the spring, a cormorant out there eating the shad, and lately, some seagulls, which is really odd. We also have blue herons, but less and less, I think a developer is disturbing the rookery, and am seeing less nests, he wants to build more homes. So sad.
