The big problem with that is debris gets caught in the fence/net and during a big rain it will act as a dam, or just be swept away by the powerful water. They sound like lots of work and not much benefit, I think you are just going to have to learn to live with some trash fish and aggressively manage them. Thats just what I think, others may have different options.
