In 1991, I purchased a car manufactured by this new Korean automaker, Kia Motors. It was their first vehicle into the US auto market. It was rebadged and sold as the Ford Festiva. It was a strippo; not even a radio. I purchased it for commuting to central Illinois (Lake Shelbyville) where we kept a boat at the marina. It got 46 mpg on the hiway. It cost $4600. I have always wondered why...why...why can't they bring that car back? - Hey...here's a thought? How 'bout this Fiesta; sure looks like the modern version.
