The Playboy Bunny Pond.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Will you build an elevated stand for the deer hunting? I'm planning on building a deer stand this year that will be nice and comfortable. We want to be able to spend all day in there, regardless of the weather, and enjoy ourselves. Wether we're reading a book, or just watching the woods. Mine will be in between my big pond and a field that I'm putting a food plot in. I don't expect to see anything around the pond so much as I just want to be able to see it for the joy of it being there.
My plan is for it to be 12 feet up at the floor with stairs and two landings to get up to it. I like the idea that anybody can walk up the stairs and not risk their lives. I've seen some pretty scary ladders and stairs to get into some blinds. It will be 8ft by 8ft and six feet tall at the walls. I'm putting in sliding windows and might even insulate it. Not sure on that just yet.
Congrats on your pond.
Eddie
