I wanted to try them last year but missed the spawning run and was really surprised when Overton was able to connect this year.

Our TFS were stocked, by my calculation, at about 1500/acre in water described by Overton as “perfect” with high water covering grassy areas, limited FA, and shoreline vegetation.

The shad were spawners seined “running the banks” the same morning stocked in mid-afternoon.
Visibility was less than 12 inches due to recent rain so predation should be minimal.

Looking forward to your and C19’s results in a much smaller pond – we’ll see... \:\)
