NE,
I probably still have plenty of ice, my pond, and cabin are 90 miles nw of my home. I was there 9 days ago, it still had 14 inches of ice, and there was 37" of snow on the ground. I dont have an aerator, but i do have 2 pipes running 250ft above a waterfall.
I keep one blown out so it doesn't freeze, and i run it every couple of weeks during the winter.
I'm goin up there today to start the pipe running. the pond is down about 9", and this should bring it up quickly with all the snow melting.
I hope your trout made it thru the winter. Did you ever think of getting an underwater camera? Walmart has one with 50ft of cable, and a 5" monitor, it's only $100.oo. Sportsmans guide has one for about $120. It could be useful, and alot of fun.
