Thanks for your kind remarks. You simply would not believe the growth rate of Pacu. They will be predator safe well within a month of escape from PetSmart and then gain at least 1 pound per month after that. I've got one that is 9 to 10 pounds now from a spring stocking but it is just hanging on in the cool weather. Another one in my hot tub that weighed 7 pounds over a month ago.
