Your main problem in Maine will be finding fish other than trout. Trout are good fish if you like trout.

Many people around here prefer trout while there are a lot of bass fishermen too.

Can you get(buy) or catch from a local water some smallmouth bass? They will do good in a Maine pond where the more food they get the larger they will become.
