Cloudy water
This is a side by side view of my jar test w/ the “Placebo” to the left and the “Treated” jar to the right. I added a few pieces of Sheetrock to the “Treated” jar because I had it on hand. This is approx 24 hours after treatment. I do not plan on using Sheetrock, I will use straight gypsum.

The starter jar would thrill me.

Rstringer I can see what you are saying. I was honestly shocked it was so "clear." I was expecting more of a muddy color than what I saw due to what it looks like in the 1 acre pond. Day #2.5-3 and the jar on the left still have the same color. Jar right the right is crystal clear after adding a few pieces of Sheetrock.

I would say it wont take much gypsum to turn it gin clear. If you do another rest jar you can experiment with how much it will take.
