Unit 29 due east of Casper. 5 of us bowhunting we ended up taking 3 very nice goats and a nice mulie. We went back rifle hunting last week and were over run with hunters. Still ended up getting a guy his first antelope and another his first mulie. Both were very nice animals especially for their first ones. I never did find the huge mulie I had seen during bow season. Too many people running around those big guys left the country. Maybe next year with a bow.

Unit 73 is about an hour out of Casper. If you go to the Wy. fish and game website, and look at the pronghorn unit map you'll find it. Lots of public walk-on access even tho there is a lot of private property. We ran across a lot of signs by S&S outfitters that said they had rights to hunt there. That's true, but since the landowners contracted with the State, the land was also open to the public. S&S did that to keep many people off of the property that didn't know any better. It looked like they had posted it because they had exclusive access, but that wasn't true.
If the moon and stars align up in 2012, I'll be going out there again.

Just antelope there, we hunted Mulies in the Greys River area of Wy. about 60 miles West of Pinedale in the foothills of the mountains (we were hunting at 8,000 - 9,000 feet elevation). Roughly 1/2 hr East of Alpine.
