At about 4 ft (that size) it is a risk to kids and dogs.

ewest, if I'm deadly from the fetal position, would a 4' gator be dangerous to me also?

It has sharp teeth and a very nasty bite (infection). If you act childlike it might risk a bite. --

You released him? Man, he's so cute, I would have put a collar on him and gotten him his own bowl.

Why? Do you suppose he has a record player?

Why? Do you suppose he has a record player? I doubt that he has a 33 it's too small anyway, so a .45 would probably work better. 78's just get too durn big!

Why? Do you suppose he has a record player? I have a suggestion for the song... Polk Salad Annie. Dang if I ever saw a gator in my pond I'm quite sure I'd chamber a round. Oh who am I kidding, I'd be firing on full auto.

Oh who am I kidding, I'd be firing on full auto. I've never heard that song, but that was pretty cool! I liked this version a little better. I can certainly understand now, though, why this gator would have a record player and can fully see the merits in giving him a .45 of this song! My, how this thread has wandered! How unusual around here where we typically manage to stay right on track!

Doesn't everybody have one of those in their ponds for Heron control???? Seems logical to me.

Something we don't get to deal with in MN. Do they like buzzbaits?
Good morning Dave, I've checked the ships systems, and everything appears to be running normally.

Something we don't get to deal with in MN. Do they like buzzbaits? I know the true Minnesotans consider "the Cities" to be just a suburb of Chicago or Omaha, and not part of Minnesota. But . . . Last year I got a call from a cousin after they got back to "the woods" after a July 4th visit to friends in the Apple Valley area of the Cities. She told me about the alligator that was enjoying the July 4th celebration nearby where they were visiting. I posted an old a link to the story -- hopefully it will work for everybody. The true Minnesotans offered him some apples. They didn't try buzz baits, just duck tape. Then they threw the poor 'gator in the Eagan jail until the game wardens could make bail!
