...and what a joyous occassion it is! Happy B-day, Bill. I regret that I will be unable to attend the surprise party that Theo has planned (did I just say that out loud?). Anyway, I am going to send Oscar in my place; he's already on his way. He is delightful at birthday parties and tells many jokes (ask him to tell the one about the Mermaid and the diver). He has an annoying habit of getting up in your face alot...watch out if he burps. - - - - - - - - -

It's a real supprise to get all the greetings from the members. Thanks for all the kind words. I enjoy learning about pond stuff and I really like teaching others about all the things that go on under the surface. You all are a great bunch of people. Thanks again. God I wish I was 43 again, although back then I did not know as much as I do now so I guess 61 isn't so bad after all. I will dig up a boat photo for Sunil. Hey Sunil, I am in the early stages of getting the materials list together for building another boat like the one in the photo. I will get some construction photos and put them and instructions for building the boat in an issue of PBoss Mag. The boat is a real handy work boat for fishing, sampling, removing weeds, algae and debris from the pond. I am currently testing some sludge reducing pellets at a pond and the pondowner saw my boat. He is a good wood worker and wants me to help him build two of them, one for him and another one for me. This next boat will be ligher colored and will be built of birch plywood which has a neat pattern wood grain.
