What is a good way to catch carp and buffalo out of a tank with a fishing rod or troutline.

If you are a bowhunter, you can buy a setup to shoot fish. My father used to shoot a lot of carp during their spawn when I was a kid. Would lay them on the side of the road and people would pick em up.
