Nice fish Hey Joe, not to one up you, but honestly a Texas Ling that size wouldn't raise many eyebrows at the Freeport Beach Harbor bait camp. We routinely catch our version of Ling (Cobia) in the 70 to 80 pound range and big ones go over 100 pounds. They are also one of the best eating fish that swims. http://www.fish4fun.com/cobia.htm

Very funny Joe ~lasers Great fish...my buddy won the fishing pot on an Eastern Seaboard fishing charter with a 40 lb. ling, nice job...I haven't caught one and I've been offshore 3 times. But I'm really impressed with those Prawns...my mouth is watering thinking of a plate in front of me, with 12 fried ones on it !!!
