Just talked to a pond-owner who needs a fish guy in Indiana. His name is Scott Curtis. His number is 812-459-2262.

Tell him to call Cecil. He will know how to help and who to trust.

If he can't get a good source from Cecil, PM me.

I'll call him. Here's a list of fish suppliers in Indiana and surrounding states in case you want to refer anybody Todd: http://www.in.gov/dnr/fishwild/fish/fishing/2007rptHaulAndSuppliersListCheckPublish.pdf As far as who to trust I've only bought fish once or twice from an Indiana fish producer (Most in Indiana only supply stocker fish which I don't purchase) and one no longer even sells fish.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

I did not make an appearence in the group photo at the end of the conference because I was talking to two guys from central Illinois. They are seeking hybrid striped bass. Anyone know of a hatchery that sells 4"-6" stockers in their region?

Todd, Ewest; I talked to him on the phone. I'm really impressed with you Todd as you are not one of those guys that just tries to sell fish to someone and fish they don't need. He was hoping to buy F1's or coppernoses and Todd was honest with him about the fact that they may not make it as far north as he is. I think he's going to go with Jones in Ohio. Jones offers free transport for minimum orders and as far as I know is a good source of fish.

They still have a $150 minimum for free shipping, IIRC. I like the BG, RES, CC, LMB, GC, GSH, FHM, and HSB I have gotten from them - sizes and numbers as expected, all healthy fish. They do the free-with-minimum delivery to all of Indiana.

I'm not sure what the big deal is, but my fish guy can get me HSB that are 10", 14", and even 16"+. They're not too expensive either. 4-6" HSB are also available.
He'll be making another run in the next few weeks, and I'll make a post to see if anyone wants some.

Jones lists small (3"-4"), medium (5"-7"), large (8"-10"), and adult (over 12"; 1 to 3 lbs) HSB; I got the 8"-10".

I drove up to Jones in Ohio for my Bass, I would recomend them. I made it a day trip with my at the time 8 year old Daughter, she still talks about it sometimes (two years ago) I had as much fun as she did.

If the schedule is right, I can easily drive to Somerset. I'm also still looking for Tilapia within about a three hour drive of Winchester VA. Ken

Thanks, bill for talking with us, sorry you missed the photo. Maybe someone can crop you in. I just made an order with Jones fish. (400) 5-7'' HSB, (200) 3-4" and (400) 6-8" Crappie.
They are giving me free delivery, but charging me an arm and a leg for the fish.
i will let you know how the delivery goes.
I usually order fish from Keystone Fish hatcheries. i would recommend them to anyone. Those fish are doing awesome!!!
