Schedules are almost set ! I now see we have booths, freebies, a silent auction, ...and so many presentations, it makes your head spin !

That doesn't even include the before and after meetings between PB faithful. The funny part is that few of us know each other, this is only the beginning : Pond Boss 1

(I can see the prequil) Lusk plays on slip'n'slide...creates pond, throws in tadpoles and creek fish, the Legend Begins ! \:\)

I feel like a kid waiting on Christmas ! Bob has gone first class with this one, I can't imagine how many hours he has into this...along with the Moderators. My hat is off to you guys putting this thing together !

I'm sitting here working on my Power Point presentation right at this moment. Quite honestly, I'm scared to death. I'll bet you guys will be the toughest crowd ever.

Do any of you guys know Portuguese?

I finished mine today. But in all fairness I had it pretty much ready to go a while ago but the wife is the computer whiz of the family and had to really put it together.

You do yours in Portugese (or Italian if you feel better) and I'll do my mine in German O.K.?

Sprechen sie Deutsch? \:D

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

My 12 year old did the whole presentation for me.

Way, way better than I could have done with the visual part.

I admire everyone doing a presentation, I know when I have one at work, I dread them for days.

Take it easy guys, you both grow bigger fish than anyone else in your specialty. Sit back and brag to us, that's what we want ! Just tell us how !!!

Boy, I regret that I am unable to attend. I wish you guys and gals a great PB time!
Dwight has graciously offered to attend as my Pro tem. He will be easy to identify.

Speakers (Bruce , CB1 and Ed)! I have been to 2 PB meetings (DFW and Atlanta). Having prepared and given lots of presentations , speeches, talks etc , from a few people to thousands of listeners , and not being overly fond of doing them I have a bit of info for you guys.

The PB meetings are uplifting and different from any meeting you have attended. I promise this will be like a family get together. I know from each of your posts that without question each of you could give your talk cold without any preparation. So take it easy and don't worry. This will be like talking face to face with a friend and not like giving a presentation. If your notes and computer were taken away you could still do this easy. We will be there to share in the presentation and with so many of us with so much knowledge and passion it will be like a group discussion. Relax and enjoy the journey. It will be an easy one for you.

Eric is right. I doubt that there will be a lot of toastmasters in the crowd.

You guys don't have to worry. If you foul up, we will all clap quietly and politely every time.

However, if Otto makes a mistake....

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Greg should preceed his speech with a giant blow-up picture of him holding his new son on the fish weigher. Priceless!!! \:D

No worries here. I've done a few of these and of course if it's something you truly enjoy, like to share, and know a little bit about it's not a problem.

Funny thing is when I was a kid doing book reports in school I was absolutely terrified! I would still be nervous 20 minutes after I sat down! Of course the battle axe we had for a teacher that prefaced your book report with, "Don't say anything about the book!" didn't help any! \:D

I just checked the TSA site for what is legal in my carry-on baggage before the next big panic:

No DEAD fish over 3 oz.
No rotten tomatoes over 3 oz.
All similar materials must fit in a small zip-lock bag.

You guys are safe!

Actually, you guys are really appreciated. Without you, we wouldn't be having this fantastic gathering.

Bob Lusk even appears to have arranged for good weather.
