A friend and I had a great weekend fishing.

We pulled in 78 fishing off my dock. I think we are approaching 80#'s of BC removed this year.

Pretty neat

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I got to play with my drone today.

You can see the dock in the upper right.

Please tell me you filleted them and made fish nuggets for the entire county! Nicely done!

And you got a drone! Christmas in May!

Now if we could just get you to put in a syphon pipe to pull the bottom water out...

I sent the fish home with my friend and he invited his family and friends over for a fish fry. Yes I have been thinking about that siphon tube Brian.

I looked at some of the video I took and got one of my friend catching a fish. I thought that was cool. He is using a buzz bait.

Anyone ever say your pond looks like a dog. Ear and head in the upper left. Legs on lower left and lower right. Strip of grass a collar.

Nice catch.

You have a beautiful place. I remember seeing the pictures of your spillway you built and gate. A place to be pround of and it shows. I can see the dog also.

A couple of friends of my sons took home 49 BC last week. Yesterday I pulled out 22. Im now at approximately 35 pounds toward the recommended 100-150 pound annual cull. Still have a long way to go.

Pat, not near as many as I should be. Hopefully the cranes and cormorants can help.

I see the baby elephant from Hatari!

That's a nice pile of crappie! What's the average length? Have you always had them this size, or did you start with smaller fish and through management gotten better fish?

I inherited the BC when I bought the place 11 years ago. This year sizes are evenly distributed large, medium, small.

Year before last the numbers were heavily weighted towards large+ size fish. Other than putting in forge habitat im not doing anything to cultivate them. All efforts are geared toward harvest/suppressing overpopulation.
