Maybe a dumb question - but I'll ask anyway... 10 acre lake - two feeders that run 3x per day for 12 seconds. Lots of habituated gills basically live around the feeders 24/7 waiting for the free meal. I am in NC and our gills are getting on the beds right now. I'm wondering if the feeders should be paused so they can focus on spawning - or just keep them running? Concerned that they won't leave the free meal line to make beds and reproduce. Thanks for any ideas as always - Cullen

They will leave the feeder to make beds and spawn. Now, what about the younger BG that aren't of spawning age? Will that allow them access to the feed that the bigger BG would normally consume?
