After many years of drought, my ponds are finally full and over flowing.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

More rain last night and more forecasted.

I don’t have to haul my butt 70 miles to see how much the 2 ponds rose. I do have 2 small ponds that stay dry or really low 99% of the time. I figure they are full but won’t last long.

The meteorologists in our area are saying this stormy pattern will continue for a month which puts us right at Memorial Day. Always good to go into summer with full ponds.

We went and looked. Full pool on every low spot on the land. Water finally quit running in from the hills. More rain forecasted off and on for the next couple of weeks.

We took daughter, her husband and their 4 year old grandson. The 4 year old caught some nice fish. One whopper catfish, about 4 feet long, that Great Grandpoppy helped him bring in.That was worth the trip. That catfish was stocked 20+ years ago at about 4 inches. It always comes to feed.

More rain forecasted over the next 2 weeks. I don’t need it. Good to see all 5 ponds finally full after many, many years. Only 2 are stocked.

Awesome that the 4 y.o. caught a "trophy" fish. I hope that will be a lifetime memory!
