Does anyone here have any real world experience with this dredge pump?:

WeedersDigest seems to be the one and only US distributor. This is the manufacturer out of Finland:

The pond is about 1.7 acres and OLD. I've been researching solutions to the muck in my pond of for years. A lot of guys talk about trash pump dredges but the biggest complaint I read is that you are constantly dealing with clogs. This pump is attractive with the auger on the tip to chew up weeds, leaves, small twigs, etc. that I know I have.

I'm thinking about an approach to clean-up my old 1.5 acre pond that I share with 2 neighbors. We are doing all the right things now, but there is still a healthy muck layer that I feel needs a more direct solution versus just aeration and muck eating bacteria.

Thanks!
