I’m new to this. I just had a 1.75 acre pond built and was looking at a mix of hand painted bream, cnb, and read ear. I’m sure this has been discussed at length but I couldn’t find much on the hand painted bream. I would love to get some opinions on those and where I could get them. What has your experience been?

It’s a species from Florida and Georgia. I don’t know if it is a bluegill subspecies but I have seen 1 hatchery offering them. The little information I have read shows great growth rates. Seems like there are some older threads on here when I google them but I can’t get them to open. xxxxxx breeds them from stock they caught in Florida

Could you help us with a specific species name? A Google search doesn’t seem to pull up anything concrete.

I’m pretty positive that those are what I’m going to be stocking my pond with whenever i’m able to renovate my pond!

They also make your breath fresher, your teeth whiter, and make you more attractive to the opposite sex.

Yes, but are they recommended by 4 out of 5 dentists?

If these fish are so great why are they not sold by more fish farms? Think about it.

Only the smartest, bestest fish farms have them. Actually, only the bestest.
