We have a 30+ year old 1 acre pond full of Bass, Catfish, and Sunfish, which I have treated with AquaShade and it was fine for all the past years, but now (and after 4-5 inches of rain over 3 weeks) it has started to have a partial brown , maybe part of AquaShade has washed over the spillway?

broken surface scum moving around on it.... trying to find best way to clear it off..

One suggestion was straw on the banks, another was add Organic Pond™ pureBACTERIA™ Pond Muck Reducer & Water Clarifier

So wondering if either of these solutions will work or something else. Any thoughts or suggestions would help.

Welcome to the forum. If the banks around the pond don't have dense enough vegetation to prevent the soil from eroding and washing into the pond you will continually have visibility problems with big rains.

Do a jar test to see what the issue is. If there is a lot of sediment on the bottom of both jars after 24-48 hours, then the dirt washing into the pond is the problem. If the jar in the dark clears up and the jar in the light doesn't then it's a phytoplankton bloom causing the clarity issues.

You need to find out what the problem is before dosing it. It's the same as going to a doc. feeling poorly and them prescribing something without doing any testing. How do you know what to use if you don't know what is causing the problem?

It’s hard to tell what you are dealing with without any pictures. But if is that thin scummy layer that I have, aeration could do a decent job breaking it up.
