Hey guys curious to see what you are catching your hybrid stripers on. So far the only thing I can seem to catch them on is pellet imitation flies and egg patterns around the feeders.

Conventional rod, or fly rod?

I've caught them on shiners/minnows, some lures, and a lot of times on feed pellets.

I would say that once HSB are 'older,' they're more prone to hit live minnows/shiners or feed pellets.

Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:"
"She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

A guy I work with, caught this one on a small Rat-L-Trap at our pond about 10 days ago.

With fly rods, almost any streamer will work. Lefty's Deceiver, Clouser Minnows, any of Enrico's minnow shaped lures(Peanut Butter), and Fish-Skull streamers.

Always shop local, but if nothing's close, then these are good places to shop.

I have never caught a HSB. However, in similar threads from the past, esshup's lure of choice is mentioned frequently for ponds with feeders.

I read that to OP wanting something other than pellet sized bait/lures. SS do work well though.

3" BG under a cork is the quickest way to catch the HSB in my pond.
