I’m amazed that fish that size can be caught, handled and still live enough to spawn.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Yeah Dave I have wondered how many of the fish attempted to be placed in Share a Lunker don't survive the process. I admire what they are trying to do, but if I am ever lucky enough to catch a 13 plus, I will probably just slide her back into the water as gently as I can.
Fishing has never been about the fish....

Mark, I also don’t understand how I could catch a big bass and get it to TPWD in South Texas as brood stock.
