Located in SE Michigan. Pond is roughly 15 acres. Lots of American Pondweed and then this. Not sure what it is, was thinking maybe a milfoil but not sure? Wondering if it's a beneficial or not? It's all under the water.

A bit hard to tell from the picture. Does it form a submerged bush underwater? I would guess Northern Naiad. I believe my pond has them as well:

I wish I knew. I randomly get some on a hook when fishing. I only see the American Pond weed. This looks like it though. Next time I get more I'll take a closer picture!

That looks like maybe southern Naiad. It's not american pondweed.
If Cody comes along, he'll nail it.

Picture is not good enough nor close enough of the plant for a good identification. Put a good top section of one stem/leaves in a shallow pan with water so the leaves lay out naturally and a picture of it on a white or light color background.
