When one copies the BBCode at Imgur the tags are perfect just to insert into the body of text as one writes the post. IOWs one doesn't have to use the insert image function of the Full Editor. Skip "Add Image" and just insert the BBCode from Imgur right into your post.

That is certainly the simplest solution. (And the way people are used to inserting things on their computer.)

I wish someone had made that obvious response to my "Posting Photos" instruction manual.

Most welcome of course! I would have posted there but only have recently started using Imgur. In the past I would use document manager to upload the image or excel file. For images I could right click and copy the url and then use the add image function with that image address. Document manager no longer works for me which is why you won't be seeing any more excel files (just Imgur images of the spreadsheets).

With Imgur I :

1. Open the image on my PC and copy it to clipboard.
2. Paste the image to Imgur (Ctrl-V) to upload it there.
3. Once uploaded I get the BBCode and insert in the post per the instructions of you and others in that thread.

Imgur accepts drag and drop from Windows Explorer and Mac folders. In fact, you can shotgun one picture after another without leaving the images page.

That's quite handy. Thank you. Will definitely use with photo files or image files already prepared. The paste function will still be handy when I take screenshots of the excel app or pdf pages or when I edit an image in irfanview for Imgur.
