My Imgur page even looks different that yours!
I wanted to type up a simple "recipe" for new members to use to post photos. I am surprised by all of the internal variance among different users. Rod, are you saying that the coffee can screenshot is different than what you're seeing on a PC?

Us newbies appreciate this effort to show us how to post pics. I have a brand new pond and lots of pics during construction that I would like to share but can't.

Rod, are you saying that the coffee can screenshot is different than what you're seeing on a PC? Sorry, I failed to write clearly! Yes, I am looking at a photo of your red coffee tubs. However, the "Imgur portion" of your screenshot looks nothing like what I pull up when I use Imgur. I get a different view of options that does NOT look like your screen, when I click the "Edit" button. I also get a different view of options that does not look like your screen (but does look similar) when I click on the "meatball icon" and then click on the "Get share links" option. I am baffled by the complexity of resolving what should be a simple issue. Al, Do you want to type up the sequential steps that you believe is the simplest way for non-tech people to host photos (somewhere) and then post them to Pond Boss? Is so, I will then try to replicate your results.

TEC, Did you try the steps in my post in the Help sub-forum? If so, could you tell me if it worked, or what problems you had so I can edit the instructions? Thanks, Rod

...Al,
Do you want to type up the sequential steps that you believe is the simplest way for non-tech people to host photos (somewhere) and then post them to Pond Boss?
Is so, I will then try to replicate your results. Let's do this. I'll do the steps one by one on Writer Document(a Mac thing), and build all the steps there then post them all together. I'll do both steps with the same pic at the same time on a PC and a Mac. If there is a difference in function or layout on a step, I'll split the action into MAC steps, and PC steps. If they're the same, I'll just display one step. Give me a few days.

Rod: I open my "posts" page on Imgur. Open a picture. In the upper right of the picture I will have a box that says "copy link" when I hover the mouse over the upper right corner of the picture, and a box that has 3 ... in it. Click on that box with the three ... in it and what pops up is the following: Edit image Get share links Download Image Delete Image. I click on "Get share links" That opens up another box like Al posted. On my computer it looks like this: Copy the link that says BBCode(forums) and paste it in your post. The picture shows up.

I think Rod is doing this the way you do Scott, so tag you're it. There are 2 easy ways to do this on Imgur, and I'm not particularly fond of this way, but that really doesn't matter. Do whatever's best for the forum.

Al, any idea why your pic and mine of imgur are different? Differences between Mac and IBM (or whatever the heck I am using)?
