Hi all, can someone explain the concern with ph fluctuation when using alum to clear murky water and algae. My pond’s ph is within the normal range. The pond is used for swimming and we would like to see the bottom as much as possible. Specifically, does anyone have experience with Phosclear? https://phosclear.com/learn-moreThank you

Adding Alum to water greatly increases acidity to the point that it kills fish. See chart below. Thank you, the product I plan to use is called Phosclear. It has a buffering agent, so lime is not required https://phosclear.com/learn-more
