New system owner in WV. 1 acre pond 25 years old. 12 ft at deepest , 7 ft average and rectangle. Runoff fed with trees around 40 percent. Lots of muck but overall not in bad shape. Treating with Muck Away and dye. Hiblow 200 and 2 Matala 12 inch diffusers. Installed first diffuser, 90ft from pump, at 11 ft with 10 day startup. No Issues. Lots of small brown bubbles on surface but fish seem happy and are moving and brown bubbles seems to be diminishing. 1/2 inch line with backpressure of 6 PSI. I know a little high for that pump but water boil is very good. I estimate close to 4 CFM which is high for that diffuser and I need to get second diffuser installed asap. Didn't get second diffuser installed and plan to set it this weekend @ 6 ft and 160 ft away. My question. Should I use my manifold to do a start-up with that second diffuser ? Thanks for your thoughts.

I suspect that you are probably well mixed down to 6 feet now. I'd turn the second diffuser on full time.
Of course, I have had a fishkill each of the last two years. YMMV.
