Has anyone with or without aireation had a fish kill lately? I have aireation and the air temperature the last few days in Soutnern Illinois had been around 103. Very unusual of here.

Thanks for answering Bill, no problems and just wondering about what others are seeing. I had a friend check and no signs of fish dying, etc. We seem to have weathered the extrmely hot weather for now. I always run my air 24/7 as I have been out of town. If another heat wave hits I'll go to the overnight air only.
Hope you are doing well, Bill.

Are you or someone that visits the 'Bing' pond able to get some water temps? I think it would be good info for the PB Forum if we has some water temperatures during this hot summer. Particularly interesting would be some water temps surf and 5 - 6ft deep in the southern ponds where the heat has been hot. If any members provide some temperature data also please include if the pond is aerated and for how long each day. Surface temp in my pond in July was at 86F. I measured on pond surface was 88F.

I live in mid-MO and just posted in the questions and observations forum about a massive tadpole die off we are experiencing as of yesterday or the night before that. I also run my air 24/7.
I don't have a thermometer in my water Bill. I wish I would have thought about that when I was in town shopping earlier today. If I go back into town soon, I'll purchase one and get some temps recorded to post here.
