My oldest son was over yesterday and had a look how the fish are growing so far. He caught the first smallie ever out of our new pond!
Stocked it last May with :
150 perch
100 Red Eared Sunfish
25 walleye

All around 4"-5"

Perch are 9"-12" now
Red Earded Sunfish are 6" now
Walleye 14" now

Put in 50 4" smallmouth early last November, hadn't seen one since.

I thought I had maybe been seeing some while feeding but they are so fast I wasn't sure.

Around 8" so far

Goal is for this to mostly be a smalle/perch pond

Great report! I'm waiting to see SMB in my neighbor's pond which we stocked with YP and other fish in addition to SMB.

Seems like pretty good growth for this fish.
