There are some good threads to be found if you use the search function.

Further, there is a group of people on Pond Boss that do a bulk order each year to get a price discount. I think they are based in East Texas, but you might get a buddy to drive a few bags to his place closer to you, and you can then pick them up - and next year you make the feed run.

You should also be able to find that thread with a search.

Good luck with your new bass. I suspect that feed-trained bass in your area of Texas will be hawgs in no time!

Don't forget to consider what these fish are being feed trained on..
Depending on the size at stocking, I'd lean heavy in the direction of Optimal Bass. Availability and FCR is excellent on both counts.

I switched to Optimal several years ago and also never looked back. They're a small Midwestern company founded by fishery biologists - I like supporting young and highly experienced entrepreneurs - and the science behind their diets is beyond reproach. Less fatty tissue build up, less waste/cleaner water, and fish longevity is improved. Highly recommend.

Optimal Handthrow is my LMB's favorite. It's wafer shaped, and dense. Another company's LMB pellets are crusty and dry. My LMB would swim around, and spit them out. Ultimately, the CNBG ate them as they softened up and fell apart.

I guess my LMB favor Junior Mints over croutons.
