Recently installed 4 KLM RA-2, 1/4 hp compressor with 2 diffuser heads in 2 acre pond. The max depth is 7 feet. The heads are evenly positioned across the pond. Would it be beneficial to reposition them every few months?

I look forward to other’s opinions, since I’ll be adding one soon. I wouldn’t expect much benefit in moving them, assuming you have reasonable water movement. I can throw dye in one corner of our 2 acre pond on a windless day and it’ll be across the whole pond in 30 minutes. It’s spring feed only, not creek input. I expect oxygen content would move throughout the pond rather quickly.

If the air stations are placed correctly in the pond, there is no need to move them.
