OP Mike Murray M Joined: May 2023 Posts: 6 Likes: 1 Joplin Missouri	Tomorrow's the big day! YP, RES,GSH,FHM, and a few WE will be delivered tomorrow. Folks from Perry Mo had a large order from someone in my area and offered to deliver to the pond. Have used pantyhose to cover basket strainer in order to deter the dreaded GSF fry from entering pond. Plan to set minnow traps in spring branch to see what's living in water source for my pond. Ordered 4-6 " fish hoping they will consume any undesirable fry that might have entered pre pantyhose. I realize that I am setting myself up mentioning pantyhose but had used it before to keep FA from stopping up irrigation heads while watering grass at the property I previously owned. Ran pump for several hours today with no issues regarding blockage of PH wrapped basket strainer. Plan to subscribe to PB mag next month. Thanks again and I'll keep you informed of my YP project in the SW corner of MO.

OP Mike Murray M Joined: May 2023 Posts: 6 Likes: 1 Joplin Missouri	YP were 4-6" (200) . Upon release a sizable amount lodged themselves between rocks in shallow water. My son and I rescued them and tossed them into deeper water. Everything but a few minnows survived. Have really enjoyed watching everything the last few days. Trying to pellet feed, have observed a few consumers ( Using the Purina brand from local feed store,ordered Optim.JR last night.) 3-4" Res already staking out claims in gravel-sand bed. Love to watch fish!
