Pondmeisters must deal with the threat of droughts, which have happened in the past and will happen in the future. But there is some good news: Official stats show that the US has not experienced more droughts since 1895. In fact, the worst droughts were in the 1920s, 30s, and early 50s. My pond got hit with a drought last year, folks in western Kansas are in one now. But at least there's no sign they are getting worse. If anything, overall dryness is less an issue that it has been in the past. For the stats: https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/access/mo...WcwZ0k4N8TIbw2BI2hv-rMrY1-EZj71pTbjKbX5g

So you are saying the doom and gloom, sky is falling rhetoric may be just that, rhetoric? so surprising!

Forget the rain dances.
Anthropic posts data saying we shouldn't be in worsening drought conditions and next thing you know, we get a good steady, soaker rain at our property.
Coincidence? I think not!

I’m still down about 4 ft.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I'm still running out of the syphon pipe in both the big pond and the one down stream. What a difference 100 miles east makes.

Coincidence? I think not! My rainmaking bill is in the mail. Late payers may experience renewed drought.

My rainmaking bill is in the mail. Late payers may experience renewed drought. I forgot to read the fine print. Is this payment for your service contract that comes with the 90-day rain guarantee?

We were 4-5 ft low and now full thanks to a couple of weeks catching heavy rains.

We were 4-5 ft low and now full thanks to a couple of weeks catching heavy rains. And of course thanks to the weather making prowess of Anthropic,, came thru for us again,,, Now I need to have him say a few good words for us here in Central MO, we are getting a few little dribbles, way more in some spots then others just a few miles up the road, I think I got a total of close to an inch over a weeks time frame, here at my house and also at the farm, but no runoff yet this spring to speak of, still about 5 to 6" low in the pond. The yards and gardens sure do appreciate what we got tho.

I'm focused on western Kansas now, but maybe can stretch some into Missouri as well. California & east Texas no longer need my skills. On a serious note, California drylands put on quite a colorful show after rain! https://scontent-dfw5-1.xx.fbcdn.ne...o3pp-lO59tIb4hJMpbP6uPYQ&oe=64700A0E

If ya don’t mind, can you whip a beam on just about 5 miles South of Bowie Texas?

Western Oklahoma is only slightly better off than west Kansas. My 2 ponds are 3-4' low, a rain dance would be greatly appreciated. 2 240VAC pumps running 24/7 one Solar running. Electric bill could use some relief.

After all of these rain dances, anthropic is going to have Schwarzenegger-like calf muscles!
