This is in a one acre wetland pond that I put 10-15 fingerling LMB in six or seven years ago. I have never seen them spawning in it before but have seen a few smaller bass so they had to have. Well yesterday I saw a nice 12"+ bass on a nest for the very first time...kind of made my day. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/kP17Wqn.jpg) There are some green sunfish in it that just came naturaly but not nearly as many as there used to be. The pond is pretty weedy and I have put alot of FHM and some bigger GSH in it..thinking of adding some BG for diversity and for the LMB.

If the bass are spawning and thriving, then I think adding the BG is a good plan.
After all, a LMB can only eat so many GSF for dinner before she gets a hankering for some tastier fare!

If you do add BG then add 5 inch BG and only a few - maybe 25. See how they do first.

Thanks, I think I'll head down to my local hatchery this weekend and try the 25 and see how it goes.
