I have a new pond that is about 1 1/4 acre and is almost full. I have put in 1000 small bluegill, 100 large bluegill, 20 lbs of flathead minnows and 20 lbs of shiners. I am located just north of Houston and west of Magnolia. The sides are steep, and I would like to start planting vegetation but can[t find any good advice. About the only plant I have decided on is pickerel weed. Any suggestions?
