I'm heading into my 3rd year with a little over 1/4 acre pond. Initially stocked with BG, HBG, RES, LMB and YP. Have feed since the beginning. Caught a few HBG (7-8") in the fall when trying to harvest the tilapia I put in. Feeding has been erratic the past couple of weeks but the weather has been all over the place. I rarely see the LMB other than a big splash sometimes in the evening during feeding time.
My questions how do I know what to harvest and how much?

Once the LMB have spawned, take out 5#-7# per year. Size of them depends on your fishery goals. Depending on how much you feed and the quality of the feed, you should be able to take out enough panfish for a few meals a month.
