New member here. We recently installed 20, Aquamaster 2 hp 220 vac fountains. The Mfg recommends motor rebuild every 3 years, as routine maintenance. We run them approx 14 hrs/day, 7 days per week. ( Turn them off for approx. 4 months in Winter ). Rebuild cost is approx : $ 850. + Pulling them out. As a retired electrical engineer, I have never seen such a short cycle rebuild. Looking for comments & recommendations Thanks

Welcome to the forum!
It looks like they have between 3 and 5 year warranties.
Your run time is approximately 31,000 hours between rebuilds at that rate. In your experience, how many hours run time are you used to seeing in electrical motors or water pumps before they need a rebuild if they are not running in 100% clear water?
