I want to add water to my pond. I've read postings on here about adding well water.
I don't have a direct hose bibb or pvc line/gate valve to run water directly from my well head area.

My water supply is going through my water softner.

Can this water be added to the pond?

What size pond is it?

If your question is for your 1 acre pond, it seems like you will be filling the brine tank and conditioning the resin often.

As far as using the softened water (and not the discharge), I don't see a problem. If your softener is set up correctly, the amount of salt released in the softened water should be minimal.
